- Technical DescriptionThe Mayon Panel is a high-performance wall panel that reimagines the clean, defined surface lines created by natural wood cutting through a fiber–fiberglass structural system. The panel surface features a volumetric topography shaped by sharp and straight lines, replicated from the master model with millimetric accuracy using high-precision molding technologies. This geometry creates crisp edge definitions, strong light–shadow contrasts, and a pronounced sense of depth across the surface.
The core structure consists of fiberglass layers reinforced with mineral fillers and polymer binders. This composite system gives the panel a high elastic modulus, enabling stable performance under bending, warping, and impact loads. Even in large-format installations, surface stability is maintained and deformation risk is kept at a minimum.
Mayon is engineered to withstand temperature fluctuations, UV radiation, humidity, water vapor, and atmospheric exposure. With its controlled thermal expansion behavior, the panel remains stable through temperature cycles without blistering, surface cracking, or form distortion. Its embossed geometry distributes impact energy across the surface, enhancing impact resistance and reducing long-term fatigue.
The fiber–fiberglass core provides high workability. Standard cutting, drilling, and shaping techniques allow seamless integration of outlets, lighting fixtures, service passages, and custom architectural detailing. Installation is performed using a screw + dowel mechanical fastening system; the stable core ensures strong anchorage for long-term structural durability.
The Mayon Panel delivers strong and versatile engineering performance through its high elastic and mechanical strength, robust structural behavior despite low density, stabilized surface resistant to UV–moisture–heat–vapor exposure, impact-dissipating three-dimensional geometry, easily workable composite structure, and large-format design that creates continuous surfaces with minimal joints.
Its advanced composite structure naturally aligns with sustainable architectural standards. Lightweight composition reduces energy consumption during production, transportation, and installation, while long-term surface stability enhances material efficiency. Free from harmful chemical substances, the panel supports indoor air quality and user well-being. These attributes make the Mayon Panel compatible with LEED, BREEAM, and WELL criteria related to material health, durability, resource efficiency, and indoor comfort.
Mayon blends the architectural expression of cut-wood surfaces with modern composite technology, bringing geometric clarity and high-performance surface experience to contemporary projects. - FormatsPanel Size: 115 × 132 cm [h] (± 1%)Panel Thickness: ~ 30–40 mmTexture Depth: ~ 40–45 mmWeight: ~ 1.5–2 kg/m²
